Testimonials

I am the webmaster/co-publisher of an alternative news website. In addition to news stories coming in 24 hours a day, one of our most popular features is the opinion pieces from our editorial staff. With news, op-eds, public service announcements, advertisements, event notices, etc., etc., there is a large volume of material that needs to be perfect.
However close we get to reaching perfection, we do so with the invaluable assistance and eagle-eyes of Andrew Fuetterer. In the news business, our product consists of little more than words on a page. It's imperative that those words be spelled correctly and have proper grammar. Errors in a news publication affect the credibility of that publication. With no credibility, we'd have no readers.
We depend on Andrew to keep us error-free.

Dear Andrew:

I want to thank you for going over the copy for Sierra Times. You found obvious errors that I stared at and missed. It's nice to know that the article is error free for publication. Thanks again for your help.

Andrew:

I spend a lot of extra time proofing my copy. Often before you started working on it, it went into ST just as written, and I discovered some typos all my diligent work missed. Since you started at ST, you have found and eliminated the typos I miss, and have even helped me to stop making some mistakes in punctuation usage I had been making for years. Thank you.

Dear Andrew,

Let me take this opportunity to say a loud THANK YOU for all your proof reading and editing endeavors at Sierra Times. As a regular editorial contributor, I must admit that I have a problem being objective when it comes to editing what I write, not to mention finding the various spelling and grammar errors that one can't avoid when placing ideas on "paper." It's been great having you there to take that objective look at my writing, and tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong! You've saved me from making a fool of myself more than once. Keep up the GREAT work, and for heaven's sake, don't go anywhere!

From the Ranch Chief himself:

Andrew was a loyal reader to Sierra Times. His feedback mail was annoying, but always correct. Hence, it was my decision that his talents were badly needed here at Sierra Times.

Since we brought him on to the ranch, for proofing, he is the biggest pain we have. And that's why we love him! We needed it.

Andrew's Zero Tolerance policy against grammatical errors, has raised everyone's standards. We can't be more appreciative. We only hope we can keep him around, before some other news publication steals him from us.

You can imagine the work that was involved in the task of proofreading the 190,000 words from this person.
